Drive down to the Virginia Beach Convention Center and explore the range of products at the Mid-Atlantic Sports and Boat Show! Vendors from around the country come to offer some of the top entries in their inventory, offering fantastic deals on some of the hottest models. There are plenty of stalls to peruse and some seriously delicious food, making this a top activity to attend with your family or friends. The event begins at 10 am and goes through 8 pm, giving you a great afternoon or evening escape. If you plan, you can dine out at any one of the delicious stops around the convention center–such as Zoë’s Steak and Seafood or Eurasia Cafe and Wine Bar; a place that has been a coastal staple for nearly 20 years. Tickets will be required for entry, so check in with the Virginia Beach Convention Center by telephone, email, or in-person walk-in to secure your access.
2. Virginia Arts Festival (February 4th, 2023)
Celebrate the arts and support local area artists at the Virginia Arts Festival! This flagship event offers some of the most breathtaking work the coast has, featuring entries from nearly every art subtype and genre. Your support makes a difference, encouraging the vibrant art communities and groups around the Virginia Beach coastline. Stop by and purchase your favorites, or visit and take in a unique atmosphere and community vibes that this event has to offer. Tickets are hosted through WeGow, and are currently $25 per person. Be sure to purchase in advance to avoid delays at the gate! The event begins promptly at 7:30 pm at Attucks Theatre in Norfolk, just a short drive away from our coastal community.
3. Dark Knight of Winter Beer Festival (February 19th, 2023)
With two successful years in the books, the St. George Brewing Company is pleased to announce the third year of their Dark Knight of Winter Beer Festival. Come by and sip on over 20 different types of beer and unlimited samples with every ticket purchase! The party begins at noon on Sunday, February 19th at St. George. Enjoy a delicious lunch outside or at any of the available gourmet food truck options! Attendees will also be able to enjoy live music, community connection, and bottomless beer until they’ve hit their limit. The event will be going on whether it’s rain or shine, so be sure to mark your calendars and book tickets in advance. It’s a great way to spend a weekend out with your local friends and community members! Featured beers will be sourced from 1700 Brewing, Cape Charles Brewing, and Oozlefinch, as well as 15+ other award-winning options. Tickets are currently $10-$35/person, with Early Bird ticket options available.
